Pass the light | April 2021

Anaiya Naroola along with team Project Promise started an initiative "Pass the Light". Through this initiative, we tried to support Kavita Bisht's women support home in Ramnagar, Uttrakhand to get orders for some Diwali products which they were making at their skill center. 

Project Promise is motivated to light up every heart by supporting Kavita Bisht’s women support home.

Anaiya Distributed diyas, thaals & char-Mukhis which were made by children from Kavita Bisht skill center, Ramnagar - Uttrakhand.

We would also like to request you all to buy Diwali Pooja diyas and Laxmi Ganesh from local street vendors everytime in order to support them. Please do not bargain. Also, PLEASE DON'T BUY AND BURST CRACKERS during Diwali season BECAUSE You will be helping an industry that unethically and inhumanely employs thousands of children & the pollution (both noise, air, and water) will affect a lot of people
